GUILDHALL EVENTS ADMINISTRATOR
Salary (inclusive of London Weighting): £22,010 + overtime (up to £4,000 pa)
rising to £24,660 (depending upon performance)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual with effective administrative and communication skills to join our small commercial events team.
The events team is responsible for managing commercial events at the historic London Guildhall in the heart of the Square Mile. We deliver some 500 events each year, ranging from high profile corporate events and award ceremonies to large charity fundraisers and concerts.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Events Administrator with experience of delivering successful events. High quality written and oral communication skills, strengths as a team player, good interpersonal skills and computer literacy are essential.
The Guildhall is a world-class venue used by international companies, public bodies and charities. You will be joining the City of London Corporation, an organisation committed to supporting and promoting the City as the world’s leading international finance and business centre. The post is based at the City Corporation’s offices at the Guildhall.
Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries relating to the letting of Guildhall
Following up on provisional event bookings
Supporting the forward planning of events
Promoting the Guildhall venue
Experience of venue diary management and organising corporate/commercial events in a professional environment
Experience of budgetary control and managing financial systems
