London City Selection announces Big City Site Visit 2018
London City Selection (LCS), the City of London’s venue consortium, has announced its annual corporate familiarisation day, Big City Site Visit, to showcase the diverse venue offering in The City of London.
The City tour, taking place on 5th July, invites 40 corporate event bookers from across the London to experience 18 of the collection’s 30 venues, offering them the chance to sample the best in hospitality at some of the City’s modern, heritage and unique venues within the collection.
London City Selection Chair, Rowan Kitching comments, “We are excited to host the Big City Site Visit for the third year running, and show off a number of our fantastic new venues in the City. We have had an incredible amount of interest following our Game of Venues FAM Weekend earlier in the year, which was aimed at our agency partners and we hope to drive further business to the City of London through this event aimed at the corporate market.”
The Big City Site Visit includes visits to Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Trinity House, The HAC, Furniture Makers Hall, CCT Venues Barbican, The Postal Museum, Dorsett City Hotel and Qbic Hotel. Guests attending the day will be treated to a history of the City of London as they travel from venue to venue and will be entered into a prize draw which includes exclusive prizes from member venues.
Kitching continues, “Many of the collection’s venues aren’t hireable 365 days a year, so The Big City Site Visit gives the venues the opportunity to open their doors and showcase their offering to corporate event buyers that may not have been aware of their facilities.
