Sadler's Wells announces hospitality packages for Matthew Bourne's Early Adventures
Sadler’s Wells today announces the launch of hospitality packages for the upcoming production, Matthew Bourne’s Early Adventures.
Following the unprecedented success of The Red Shoes at Christmas, New Adventures returns to Sadler’s Wells with Matthew Bourne’s “Early Adventures”, running from 3rd – 9th April 2017 as part of a year-long celebration of work to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the company. Hospitality packages can be booked for groups of 20 - 40 people and will be available to run alongside each show.
The production will feature a programme full of fun and witty performances which take inspiration from Bourne’s early career, with designs by long-time collaborator Lez Brotherston. Included in the programme will be a pastoral clog-dance feature in Town and Country’s post-war vignettes, a trip to Gay Paree with The Infernal Galop where clichés of 30s and 40s Paris are paraded and a return to childhood via Watch with Mother, a 1991 piece that has not been seen for nearly 25 years.
With access to the exclusive and modern Pina Bausch function room, guests who book a hospitality package will be able to unwind with a pre-show drinks reception including Champagne on arrival, luxury interval food platters and fine wine and soft drinks, as well as a complimentary souvenir programme. Drinks packages start from £20 +VAT per person.
Kelly McGibney, Events Executive (Corporate) as Sadler’s Wells comments: “We are delighted to be able to host another one of Matthew Bourne’s iconic productions. After an overwhelming demand for corporate packages for Bourne’s Christmas 2016 production of The Red Shoes, we are expecting packages for Early Adventures to sell out just as quickly. Sadler’s Wells is proud to offer specially tailored packages to complement this hugely popular choreographer and to offer guests a unique experience.”
Due to the popularity of Matthew Bourne productions, Sadler’s Wells Events advises people to book early for corporate packages. Tickets are on sale now at www.sadlerswells.com.
