Guildhall

Home to the City of London Corporation, Guildhall invites guests on a journey spanning more than 800 years via seven varied and versatile event spaces.

From the glittering grandeur of the Great Hall to the largest surviving medieval Crypts in London, Guildhall dates back to an era when the Lord Mayor of London rivalled the monarch for influence and prestige.  Built between 1411 and 1440, this was where the ruling merchant class held court - fine-tuning the laws and trading regulations that helped create London's wealth.

Still the ceremonial and civic heart of the City and backdrop for breathtaking banquets, royal occasions and national anniversary celebrations, Guildhall's flexible function spaces offer unique settings for your large- or small-scale event, daytime or evening, right at the heart of the City.
